Resident Associations
RESIDENT ADVISORY BOARD
Taking leadership to the next level, the Resident Advisory Board – comprised of resident association officers from each of these associations – works closely with our board and staff, reviewing the annual plan and its many components, from buildings and maintenance to youth development programs.
Resident Associations are a way for residents to get involved and help improve the quality of life in their communities. Associations plan and host social and recreational programs for residents and give them an opportunity to channel their concerns to PCC. Resident Associations can also represent residents ' views and interests in the operation of their community. By participating in your Resident Council, you can have a say….
- In Park City Community policies
- In how Park City Communities spends money
- In modernization of its buildings
- In state and national issues
Resident Associations facilitate resident involvement by encouraging input on programming and operations matters. By addressing issues pertaining to the community, the Associations promote public safety, self-sufficiency, and help create a more positive living environment for families.
Resident Associations meet once a month at each family complex. All head of households (any age) or residents at least 18 years of age and whose name appears on a lease for the public housing complex that the Resident Association represents are eligible to participate. Residents are encouraged to join the Resident Association in their community or to form a Resident Association where none exists.
