Housing Choice Vouchers
HOUSING OF CHOICE:
Housing Choice Vouchers, also called Section 8, truly enable housing of choice for thousands of Bridgeport families. The program’s subsidies empower families to choose and lease privately-owned rental housing, fully integrated into diverse communities. Park City Communities manages more than 2,800 Housing Choice Vouchers.
PROJECT BASED VOUCHERS:
SPECIAL PROGRAMS:
Housing Choice Vouchers – specifically those that are project-based – provide a resource that allows PCC to help groups with specific needs through service-enhanced housing. This includes assisting those affected by HIV, chronic homelessness, substance abuse or domestic violence, as well as youth who have aged-out of the foster care system, people with disabilities and veterans.
